making saucy pasta and the cat running when she sees me. feeling pretty after a while. fresh fruit and vegetables from the allotment. celebratory flowers and a lovely card. an evening yoga class at the gym. finding heart shapes in everything.
sitting outside a coffee shop reading. fresh bread and groceries in my tote bag. the sun coming through the blinds in the kitchen while making food with my sister. the yellowest sunflowers. visits to a bookshop with a friend. resting on a golden summer evening.
a colourful brunch. the prettiest gardens with flowers of every colour and kind. a conservatory of a variety of flora. the growth of tomatoes, nectarine, garlic and apples. reading on a bench in the park. singing along to my favourite songs on the drive home.
making blueberry muffins. a trip to the market. buying myself some red roses. reading at the local library. walks by the canal. getting iced coffee and pastries on a hot day. a bookshop with big windows. the orange of the supermoon. fresh garlic bread.
being on the train on a summer morning. vanilla ice cream and long green walks. candyfloss skies and little gift shops with pretty lights. tall pillars against sunlit trees and the sky the bluest blue. an afternoon of baking and the sweet smells filling the kitchen. brunch on the rooftop and golf. cute photobooth pictures. a visit to the art gallery. quiet days alone in another city.
early morning drives with the sun on my face and light peeking through the green of the trees. making homemade naan with my mum. the white of the moon against a dark blue sky. the warmth of lights in houses at blue hour.
spending the day in the kitchen making biscuits. purple skies. making a tomato focaccia. fresh heirloom and cherry tomatoes. drizzling lots of olive oil. the message at end of the recipe saying to make bread and share love. the smell of garlic, herbs and bread filling the kitchen.
a day at the lakes. the sun glistening on the water. ferry rides and the sun shining through the windows. sunday markets with fresh fruit, book stalls and various crafts. driving a little boat with my family. long walks with waterfalls, tall trees and the mountains and hills at a distance. ice cream and a picnic at the park. looking through the windows of the cruise in the evening. reading with a warm cup of tea.
